It used to be “Just between you and me” but now I am amazed at the outpouring of appreciation and love that so many of your friends and our family also have for you and your Turdle (as you call him, husband Jim.
Our little ’between us’ talks were precious and will forever stay in my heart. You always asked when you call or answered when I called you, “Hi Daddy, what ca-doing?” Today my sweet daughter, I’m crying – and waiting for your Grand-babies Jordane and Jacob to arrive from Florida. I’ll give them and Chase a lot of your hugs. Love you, always will, Daddy

    Dear Jayne;
We were together watching your and mine first grandbaby Be Born ( Jordane Carrell ) That was so precious we had a bond then. But through the years grew apart.
You have always been in my thoughts and prayers no matter what. You were a great person, and a great grandmother taking the roll to protect your grandchildren just like a mother Hen.
Your grandbabies and family and friends will miss you greatly.
Gods grace be with you and your family.

I remember the day Jordane was born you told Josh that “Susan just had a baby and she looks better than you!” because he had just gotten off work! You always made us laugh no matter what the situation.
The boys will miss their mawmaw Jayne. They have the best memories of you and that will never fade. Your smile and laugh will live in my heart forever, I hope you are in peace.

    Love,
    Susan Carrell
    Your Forever Daughter-n-Law

    Jim, Shirley and family,
I cannot express how sorry I am for the loss of your beloved daughter Jayne. You have been like family to me and although I never got to know Jayne I felt your love for her through your stories of her. Know you are in my heart thoughts and prayer today and all the days to come. I only wish I could be there myself to express this but I will carry great love and support for you. God Bless you all

Jayne came into my life as the whirlwind that she was. She was exactly what I needed when I needed her. She brought such laughter and joy to our family. I will love and miss her always.

  22. David Carrell says

    September 11, 2010 at 1:00 AM

I want to express my appreciation to you, Jim, and to you Uncle Jim and Aunt Shirley, for the honor of speaking at Jayne’s memorial service. I am heartbroken for the entire family, but as I said at the memorial service, God loves Jayne as His own child. She has found comfort in the arms of her Heavenly Father.

I can hardly believe that as we walked outside the funeral home, to release the balloons into the air, a butterfly landed on my shoulder and stayed there for such long a time! What are the chances that, just moments after I read Aunt Shirley’s words about Jayne loving butterflies and being so much like a butterfly…that one would land on my shoulder…at that time…at that place…on that occasion?!

Marti and I will be praying for all of Jayne’s family for a long time to come!

May God’s strength, peace and comfort always sustain you,

    David

Just yesturday i started to sing “How Much is that DOGGY in the Window..ruff ruff” and started to laugh/cry at the memory of singing that with you and watching moms teeth fall out and us busting out in laughter. We laughed alot togather aunt jayne and you truley where my bestfriend. We had the most intimate talks and you understood me.
I miss my aunt jayne very very much but i know she loved me and i was her girl. As she would say now while hugging me so so tight “I love you sweets” and my reply “I love you too Aunt Jayne very very much”
You’ll always be in my heart,
